In May 2017, for the first time in the six-year history of Ukrainian teams participating in the WPIST World Police Mini-Football Tournament, which takes place on the Spanish island of Mallorca (Mallorca), the players of “Servit” played for the national team of “Kyiv Academy” in the difficult age subgroup of the tournament “men”. The competition was held between 45 teams. Our guys played 8 victorious matches with the teams of Israel, the Czech Republic, France, Wales, Belgium, Spain, Romania and reached the final.
In a fierce final match, our football players lost to the team from St. Petersburg (Russia). As a result, the national team of the NAVS Center took an honorable 2nd place, receiving a cup and silver medals.
By decision of the Executive Bureau of the Center, a celebration of this victory was organized on May 20, 2017, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Ukrainian Section of the International Police Association.
