As part of the renovation, the underground and pedestrian areas were completely replaced with granite slabs, the geometry of the stairs and landings was restored, protective metal structures with glass were manufactured and installed above the exits, and the walls were lined with ceramic tiles.
The entrance areas to the underpass were constructed of granite. The floor was made of decorative paving elements.
During the renovation of the pedestrian underpass, all necessary measures were taken to ensure comfortable and barrier-free access for people with disabilities: stair railings, wheelchair guides, tactile warning signs, and warning tape were installed along the perimeter. An electric lift was installed. During the renovation, the underpass was equipped with video surveillance.
